Slowly but surely we are working to re-open the Church and Community Centre early September.
You will notice some major changes firstly our newly totally refurbished toilets now brought up to modern standards thank to a grant from the Veolia Community Foundation and generous local donations together with new steel ouger doors yo replace the badly corroded ones and a new Community Centre entrance door that had to be replaced due to damage caused by our recent break-in.
It has been hard work in these difficult times to secure all the necessary funding having to jump through all sorts of “hoops” but we gave persevered and managed.
Great full thanks must go to Roger.,Kaye and the foodbank volunteers who have managed to be open all the way through the lockdown and thank you to all the donations of food and money especially Dianne our postlady who has raised a staggering £2,500 and still rising for the foodbank.
Before the opening g the premises will be “deep cleaned” and all relevant signage ,social distancing and antibacterial dispensers placed.
Anne who has been working from home since the lockdown us now back working from the centre and thanks go to her for sorting out all the e training measures we have yo put I place.
NOTE from 10th August all staff, visitors and Church worshippers must wear a face mask or covering as per latest government guidelines
Shortly our new website will be launched Watch This Space! The development of the site has been funded by the “Gaunless Gateway ” Big Local Fund” National Lottery.
